Rising Star Bernard Malanda Dies in motor accident.

Wolfsburg Defensive Midfeilder Junior Malanda has been killed in a car accident.
The Ghanian born Belgian footballer played for VFL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga before his death in a ghatsly motor accident that happend today January 10th 2015.

I met him in december 2014 when i covered the Europa League Game between VFL Wolfsburg and Everton Fc of England in Wolfsburg.

Bernard Malanda-Adje (28 August, 1994 – 10 January, 2015) was a Belgian footballer who played as a defensive midfielder for VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. Malanda was loaned to the Belgian club, Zulte-Waregem, but returned to Wolfsburg for the 2014/15 Bundesliga season.

Alex Song quits Cameroon Duty.

Former Barcelona Midfielder Alex song has call time on his international football career.This is coming after he was recalled to the National team by German coach Volker Finke.He made the announcement on his official instagram account.Read what he wrote below:

Since the World Cup in the summer and my subsequent exclusion from the cameroon squad for the African Cup of Nations.I have taken the decision to retire from International Football.It is true that there were some discussions of late to include me in the squad for this tournament but i feel after a lot of careful thought and numerous discussions with my family this is the right decision.

My Love for my country will never change but i want to take time to focus purely on club football and start to rebuild my career at west ham united.I wish Cameroon all the best and the team will always be in my heart.

Alex song  was first capped by Cameroon in 2005 and recorded 47 caps with the Indomitable lions.
